Home installation and tutition
Although our HTPCs and Servers are intuative and simple to use, we realise that not everybody is technically minded. So we can offer our expertise and install our range of products in your home.
We will discuss your requirements and understand how you want it to work in your home.
We will come to your home, unpack, and setup your purchases and then show you how to use them. We'll take as long as required and wont leave until you understand how it all works.
This service is available to all our customers regardless of geographical location. We dont charge a flat fee but charge by the hour. That way you only pay for the time we spend with you and not a daily rate, even though we may only spend two hours on site.
In addition to our hourly rate of £42 (inc. VAT), we will also charge you a fee for mileage and travelling time, charged at 50p per mile.
We can also offer pre-install site survey under the same terms. Demos within 20 miles of Leeds are free, outside this range they will be charged at 50p per mile and no charge for the demo itself.
We cannot however, currently, offer any cabling service. All ethernet wiring must be in place and working prior to arrival. We can configure the machines to work with your existing network, and re-configure your existing network if required, but the basic network must be in place first. Similarly, we are unable to currently offer in-wall/ceiling speakers where building work is required. If you are unsure of your current configuration then please just give us a call to discuss.
Have a lot of DVD, Blurays and CDs and dont relish the idea of ripping your collection?
We also offer a remote ripping service. We will collect your collection, rip them to your new server, Nas, or HTPC, and return the discs along with your configured and ready to go machine.

Pricing
The following table shows the pricing per disk and the discounts available for larger orders. Minimum order is 50 disks. We do not differentiate between Audio CDs, DVDs, HD-DVDs or BluRay. Please note that it is currently not possible to rip SACD and DVD-Audio disks
